Referral Submission / Appointment Requests

GP referrals are required for an appointment with our Paediatricians

Referrals are not required for appointments with our Allied Health Clinicians

Due to the urgent nature of some medical issues, Paeds Plus has scheduled several Paediatric Medical Clinics that run separately from our Developmental Clinic. Each clinic is run on separate days with it’s own waiting list.

We are currently not accepting new referrals for PSYCHOLOGY.

Apologies as this service is running at maximum capacity with an extensive waitlist.

* Please note QUALIFYING AGE less than 16yrs

New patients must be under the age of 16yrs at their first scheduled appointment for Paediatric Services.

How to Request an Appointment with our Paediatricians.

Step 1

The first step to making an appointment with our Paediatricians is to obtain a medical referral letter. This can be from a GP or a Specialist. Please ensure your referral has your child’s complete details, including past and current medical/developmental conditions PLUS current concerns and reason for referral request.

Step 2

Please click on our Referral Submission button and follow the steps for submitting your referral. You will need to complete a new patient details form AND attach/upload your medical referral letter. Please select the type of Paediatric Clinic required – General Paediatric Medical  OR Developmental/ADHD clinic.

If your unsure as to which clinic to refer your child, please refer to our Paediatric Services section of our website which offers an overview of common conditions seen and areas of interest in each clinic.

All referrals are reviewed and triaged prior to acceptance, wait list addition, and appointment being booked to ensure your child is seen by the most appropriate clinic service and clinician.

*Please note - Priority appointments are given for urgent medical referrals, such as unsettled babies, breathing problems, asthma, recurrent infections, for patient safety and to optimise care. This allows children with urgent medical needs to receive the care required promptly.

Developmental/behavioural concerns will not be addressed in our Medical Clinics.

Step 3

Wait for us to contact you. Once your referral has been triaged, you will receive an email message with further details. The triage process usually takes about 5-7 business days from the time we receive your referral but there are times when it can take a little longer. Please bear with us as we receive a large volume of referrals daily.  Waiting times vary depending on the clinic service and speciality availability. Once your child has been added to the waiting list, our admin team will contact you via phone to schedule in an appointment when one becomes available.

Referral Wait Times

Thank you for considering our new business for review of your child.

There has been a very high demand for our currently limited services and we have so far received well over 2000 referrals in the first 8 months!

We are reviewing, triaging and putting all applications onto a waitlist. As more staff join the team these wait times will change.

Thank you for your patience.

Dr Gareth Kameron, Director.

Private Paediatric Clinic Perth

We are working at maximum capacity for our ADHD and ASD clinics but are working on ways to expand these services.

We request patience from all those who are on our waitlists.
