GENERAL PRACTITIONERS
Our General Practitioners services and collaborative ADHD care.

Paeds Plus has 3 General Practitioners who provide care for our Paeds Plus patients. Our GP's work closely with our Paediatricians to support children and adolescents with medical needs and ADHD co-management.
Our experienced GP's have specialised training in paediatric ADHD care, having completed the RACGP/WA ADHD training program. Their ADHD training has been further enhanced with additional on-site specialised training with the Paeds Plus Paediatric team. Our GPs provide collaborative co-management for Paeds Plus ADHD patients, with considerable experience in medication management, treatment monitoring, and ongoing family support.
Paeds Plus GP specialists are now apart of our ADHD diagnostic team for select patients 10years + as per the RACGP/WA eligibility criteria. To improve access to care, our GPs are now seeing selected new patients from our existing ADHD waitlist, initially focusing on children aged 10–14 years. Our GP's follow Paeds Plus comprehensive ADHD pathway from diagnosis, treatment initiation and optimising medication dosage ensuring each child receives optimal care outcomes.
Importantly, our GPs work alongside our multidisciplinary Paediatric team, collaborating closely with all Paediatricians through regular case discussions and clinical review meetings. This ensures patients receive coordinated, specialist-supported care.
Please note, our GPs do not offer co-prescribing/co-management for patients with external Paediatricians. Handover or transfer of care for previously diagnosed ADHD patients cannot be accepted.
If you child is currently on our ADHD waitlist and you would like to be considered for our GP diagnostic pathway, please email our admin team.
All New ADHD referrals must be submitted via our website, with a GP referral letter requesting ADHD diagnosis/management.
Our General Practitioners are fully integrated into our collaborative care model, participating in regular
case discussions with our paediatricians, and multidisciplinary
team meetings.
