Dr Gareth Kameron | Director
Dr Gareth Kameron is an experienced paediatrician currently working in both private rooms as well as a senior consultant and director of clinical training at Joondalup Health Campus.
Dr Kameron completed his specialist training at Princess Margaret Hospital followed by 5 years of consulting in the emergency department. With a desire to spend more time with his then-young family, he moved to Joondalup Health Campus in 2013 where he continues to work in the children’s ward, neonatal nursery, and private maternity unit.
Along with direct patient care, Dr Kameron is also a director of clinical training providing ongoing education to junior doctors across multiple paediatric, neonatal and professional development areas.
Dr Kameron is the founding director of Paeds Plus along with his wife Anna-Skye, with their 2 children being the inspiration for the development of the clinic.

Anna-Skye Kameron | Patient Care Coordinator
Anna-Skye is a passionate health professional, business partner and mother of two neurodiverse children. Her extensive background includes working as a Registered Nurse specialising in Emergency and Critical Care. Also a Health Educator previously working for The WA Asthma Foundation as a Community Asthma Educator. Anna-Skye is also a qualified Personal Trainer and Women's Health and Fitness Specialist.
She is not only Gareth's wife and business partner but is operating as the patient care coordinator. Anna-Skye has both professional and personal experience of the demands and challenges caring for children with medical and neurodiverse needs. She is passionate about holistic, patient-focused care, and brings this to life as she ensures each child receives the care they require.

Mandie Van Der Merwe | Practice Manager
Originally from South Africa, Mandie moved to Perth with her family. After high school, she worked as an Insurance Broker before studying Health and Life Coaching, and a BCom, (Applied Business) with a Major in Management at the University of Canberra.
Mandie worked for a General Practice Management Company, before happily deciding to take the leap to Paediatrics. She is stoked to be part of a quality, family-friendly team to provide excellent clinical care to children and their families.

Heather Atchinson | Medical Secretary
Heather is a qualified teacher, administrator and mom of two, that has been working with Dr Gareth, as his secretary, in his rooms at Joondalup for the last few years.
She excitedly made the move alongside Dr Gareth to set up his new clinic.

Jo Wood | Medical Secretary
Jo is an experienced medical secretary whose career started in the NHS.
After moving from the UK with her family, she has gained over 15 years experience in Perth working in medical administration for various specialist practices. For the past few years Jo has enjoyed working in paediatrics and loves getting to know the children and their families.
She is happy to join the team at Paeds Plus and looks forward to welcoming families to the clinic.
